About Audrey
I am originally from Virginia and have lived in the Boone area* for 12 years; these mountains are special and I feel lucky to call them home.
I entered the counseling field because I love connecting with other humans, hearing their stories, and helping them feel truly seen and supported while offering new perspectives when they feel stuck. I genuinely feel honored to do this work.
I earned my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, along with a Certificate in Expressive Arts Therapy, from Appalachian State University in 2014. I worked as a Staff Counselor at the ASU Counseling Center for over 6 years before transitioning into private practice in Spring 2021. I am a fully Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the state of North Carolina and a Registered Expressive Arts Therapist.
In my free time I love baking, gardening, art-making, connecting with friends and family, the occasional Netflix binge, and hiking with my dog, Margo.
